How to use the Vizrt 4 Circle plugin.
The Vizrt 4 Circle Geometry is a two dimensional object that looks just like a circle when you slide it into the scene tree or scene editor window. The Vizrt 4 Circle lets you create a shape with different corner levels, not just a circle. As simplistic as it is, there are a few options within the Circle that you can adjust.
The Vizrt 4 Circle geometry is found in the Built-Ins window, the Geom Plugins (GP) tab in the default folder. Drag a Circle geometry from the scene tree and it creates a container with the circle icon. Click on the circle icon to go into the properties editor. Within the properties editor there are several options.
Use LOD lets you enable and disable the level of detail. If you’re not sure what the level of detail is then you can check out the video in the User Interface section.
Radius allows you to set the radius of the circle. Increasing the radius will increase the overall size.
Corners allows you to set the number of corners.
Mode will allow you to change the space perspective. Your options are XY (front view), XZ (bottom view) and YZ (left view).
The circle is made up of tiled triangles tied together. When you adjust the Corners button you’re adjusting the triangles. Increasing the amount of corners will increase the amount of triangles. Decreasing the amount of corners will reduce the number of triangles. So if you lower the amount of corners to the lowest setting of 3, there will be one triangle. The higher the number you set the corners the smoother it will be. However, the higher the number the more rendering performance is used.
