How to use the Vizrt 4 Cone plugin.

The Vizrt 4 Cone Geometry is a three dimensional object that can be adjusted in various shapes of a cone. It is located in the Built-Ins window, the Geometry Plugins (GP) in the default folder. When you drag the cone into the scene tree or scene editor window, you will see what looks like a triangle. Because the cone is three dimensions it will be best to place a material on the cone to see the shading. The material will allow you to see the depth of the three dimensional cone.

Once you click on the Cone icon in the container, it will take you to the properties editor window. The Cone has several properties that we can adjust to change the shape. The properties inside the Cone editor include:

Use LOD which enables or disables the dynamic level of detail.
Tesselation sets the detail level
Height will set the height of the cone.
Diameter sets the diameter of the cone as a whole.
Corners will set the numbers of corners that make up the cone.
Show Bottom will enable or disable the bottom of the cone.
Center will let you choose the center point of the axis. Your options are Bottom, Center or Top. This setting will affect the cone when you increase or decrease the Height setting.
Smooth will enable the smoothing of the cone edges.
Rounded Tip will enable the roundness of the tip of the cone.
Rounded Tip Height allows you to enter numerical values to set the roundness of the cone’s tip. Increasing the rounded tip will eliminate polygons thus making the cone shorter.

The video demonstrates all of the functions above in detail. The video will also go more in-depth about the Show Bottom setting. It will show you which Plugin to use to see the inside of the cone if you have the Show Bottom disabled
