How to use the Vizrt 4 Arrow plugin.
The Vizrt 4 Arrow Geometry Plugin allows you to create an arrow in your scene design. There are several options within the arrow editor that will help you achieve different looks.
The video will walk you through an in-depth overview of each arrow property in its window. The arrow, by default, is a 2 dimensional object. The arrow is found in the Built-Ins window, in the Geometry Plugins tab within the Default folder. To begin, you can drag the arrow geometry from the built-ins window to the scene tree or scene editor window. Once you do, you will see a double sided arrow. If you click on the arrow icon in the container it will take you into the arrow editor.
The arrow editor had several options including:
Use LOD which enables or disables the level of detail.
Point 1X sets the point of the first X point offset.
Point 1Y sets the point of the first Y point offset.
Point 1Z sets the point of the first Z point offset.
Point 2X sets the point of the first Z point offset.
Point 2Y sets the point of the first Z point offset.
Point 2Z sets the point of the first Z point offset.
Width will set the width of the arrow’s shaft
Style 1 will determine whether the arrow at point 1 should be flat or an arrow.
Style 2 will determine whether the arrow at point 1 should be flat or an arrow.
Arrow Width will set the width of the arrow. The Style 1 or 2 must be set to arrow.
Arrow Length will set the length of the arrow. The Style 1 or 2 must be set to arrow.
Mode defines whether the arrow lies in an XY, XZ or YZ plane.
