This is a 70 min yoga asana practice for detoxing our body and mind. Twisting poses can help to squeeze the organs and will be the most beneficial to your detoxing practice. When we twist, our blood flow is going to the liver, gall bladder, stomach, spleen, and intestines. This allows fresh clean blood to enter your internal organs.
Backbends like Bhujangasana cobra can strengthen your back but can also create a little pressure on the abdomen which will encourage digestion and aid elimination of waste.
Yummy inversions(heart above your head) like Adho Mukha Svanasana down dog, drain lymph fluids from the legs and re-circulate through the body. This means the immune system will be working at its best.
Let's hop on the mat and detox our inner bodies.
