Camera Sensors and Types
Unreal Engine cameras can simulate real-world cameras like Canon EOS, RED, Alexa, Blackmagic, etc.

Sensor size affects image quality, depth of field, and cinematic look.

Common sensor sizes:

Smartphone (CMOS): ~1/2.55" diagonal, ~5.76mm × 4.29mm

Micro Four Thirds (MFT): 17.3mm × 13mm

APS-C: 23.6mm × 15.6mm

Full-frame DSLR: 36mm × 24mm

Super 35 Cinema: 24.9mm × 14mm

Alexa/RED: ~36.7mm × 25.5mm

🎞️ Aspect Ratios and Resolutions
Aspect ratio = Width / Height

Common standards:

4:3 (old TV): 720×576

16:9 (Full HD): 1920×1080

1.85:1 (Theatrical): 2048×1107

2:1 (Netflix): 2048×1024

2.35:1 Cinemascope: 2045×871

2.39:1 Anamorphic DCI 4K: 4096×1716

1:1 (Square): 1080×1080 (Instagram)

🛠️ Setting Camera in Unreal Engine
Use Cine Camera Actor for detailed settings.

In Details → Film Back, set sensor width and height.

Use vfxcamdb.com to get real camera sensor sizes.

Example setups:

Center camera = Alexa ARRI (sensor width/height set from DB)

Right camera = Blackmagic Mini Pro 4.6K G2

Left camera = DJI Mavic Air (set aspect ratio manually)

🎥 Anamorphic Camera Setup
Use squeeze factor from lens specs (e.g., 1.55).

Set width/height in film back.

Apply squeeze factor in Lens Settings to mimic anamorphic look.

Load project: Broadcast_Studio_with_Camera.zip

Open level → Save As → my_studio_camera_settings

Add multiple viewports to preview different cameras.

Set manual focus in Focus Settings for clarity.
