HE Yousef Al Otaiba Celebrates UAE National Day 2022
UAE National Day 2022 celebrated the 51st anniversary of the unification of the seven emirates. The UAE Embassy in Washington, DC, held a celebration inviting diplomats, government officials, partners and friends to honor the nation’s 51 years of progress. Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the US, remarked on how the UAE has moved “further and faster” than any other country in the past five decades.
The Ambassador also reflected on the past year and the UAE’s successful navigation of numerous challenges. From advancing cooperation between the UAE, US, Israel, and India; to the opening of the interfaith Abrahamic Family House in the nation’s capital, the UAE has made strides to become more prosperous, secure and inclusive. The UAE has also remained a close partner of the US and continues to grow this relationship to enact positive change around the world.
