The key is to start to build out your own systems. 🛠️✨
Thankfully, in the beginning they should be very simple.
One of the first steps in working towards this is figuring out how to categorize the hundreds, if not thousands, of exercises that you know, in a way that fits your views and approach towards training. 📋💪
For some people, this might be based upon body part splits - but truthfully, for many personal training clients who are only training two or maybe even three times a week, dealing with injuries, and real life this can be a limiting approach. 🚶♀️🏋️♂️🏃♂️
Many of them likely need some version of a full body training program. 🏋️♀️
This is where I have always found more compound movement categories to be more beneficial.
Instead of:
Back
Chest
Quads
Think more:
Upper Pulling
Upper Pushing
Lunges
Squats
