Black Friday in Detroit (Nov2023)
The Detroit region has two super-regional luxury malls. Twelve Oaks (Novi MI) and The Somerset Collection (Troy MI). This video features brief flyovers of The Somerset Collection at sunset on Black Friday 2023. Somerset is located at 2800 W Big Beaver Rd (also known as 16 Mile Rd) exactly 16 miles north of Downtown Detroit. It's one of very few malls in the nation with four anchor retailers (Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Macy's, Nordstrom's). Of its 180 stores Somerset features dozens of luxury retailers including Hermès, Prada, Shinola, Gucci, Moncler, Balenciaga, Breitling, Kate Spade New York, Louis Vuitton, Tag Heuer and Swarovski.
