The Zilwaukee Bridge is a high-level, segmented bridge spanning the Saginaw River near Saginaw, Michigan. It is a critical link between the Detroit region's five million people to the south and destinations "Up North" (recreational spots in the central and northern Lower Peninsula) and ultimately the Upper Peninsula. An average of 50,000 cars traverse the 8-lane bridge each day. That figure doubles on heavy travel dates, especially in the summer.

The bridge, completed in 1988, is the second bridge at this location. It replaced a four-lane bascule drawbridge constructed in 1960. The Zilwaukee Bridge is 8,000 feet in length and rises 125 feet at its highest point.
