How to use the Vizrt 4 Advanced Counter plugin.
The Vizrt 4 Advanced Counter plugin allows you to create an animated counter or counting sequence. You can keyframe the values of the plugin to simulate a counting clock. You can define your format, use various separators or use prefixed values.
The Vizrt 4 Advanced Counter plugin is found in the Built-Ins window, the Container Plugins (CP) and the Tools folder. To use this plugin you will need to drag it onto a font container.
Some of the settings within the Advanced Counter include:
Use Integers will enable you to use integers only with the counter animation.
Value (Dec.) will set the current value of the counter. You can keyframe this value to create the counting sequence.
Leading blanks will allow you to select the leading blanks of the counter. They can either be deleted away or put in as Blank, asterisk, hash, dot or zeros.
Force prefix will enable both positive and negative values to have a prefix, not only negative values as is the default plus or minus sign.
Delete unnecessary commas: Removes superfluous commas when a specified format mask has more commas than the number needs. If for instance the mask $###,###,###,###.## is defined, and the number 4120.37 is entered, it is output as $,,4,120.37. If by enabling this option, the number gets a correct format: $4,120.37.
Decimal separator will allow you to switch the decimal separator between the point and comma.
Format mask will allow you to format the mask definition. Each hash symbolizes an item of the total number. To alter, add or remove hashes. You can also add constant values, for example DM, NOK etc.
Initialize will start the counter.
The video will demonstrate how the Advanced Counter works and what the settings within the plugin do.
