Back in the day before Adobe was constantly pissing off its userbase with absurd licensing clauses and an equally absurd subscription model, they sold standalone versions of their applications. Typically, one would by all of their programs separately as Adobe continued to update their flagship products to the new Windows release. However, going down the path of Microsoft with their office applications, Adobe decided to bundle all their applications together for those graphics artist who needed such power, cumulating in Creative Suite 1, or CS1.
Adobe CS1 consisted of Adobe Photoshop 8, Adobe Illustrator 10, and Adobe PageMaker 7.0.
