This movement or exercise is going to help with scapula or shoulder blade movement and shoulder stability. It will also help improve midback posture. For this exercise, lay on your stomach. You can place a pillow underneath your forehead. Interlock your fingers behind your neck. Squeeze your shoulder blades together. If you are able to do this, then you can progress by elevating your elbows up toward the ceiling. Remember, to start the movement with your shoulder blades first, then your elbows. Hold for 4 seconds, then release. Do 10-15 repetitions of this exercise.
