The largest Masonic Temple on Earth is in the Cass Corridor of Midtown Detroit. In this brief video of the exteriors you see it in use as the venue for Theatre Bizarre, a Halloween masquerade party which runs for two weekends each October hosting almost 3000 attendees.
Completed in 1926 the 16-story building has 1037 rooms. This includes the Masonic Theater (4650 seats), the Jack White Theater (1586 seats), the Fountain Ballroom (1080 seats) and the Crystal Ballroom (400 seats). The building's 17,500-square-foot drill hall, home to Detroit Roller Derby, is used for trade shows and conventions. The Masonic Temple also hosts numerous live entertainment events from concerts to stand-up comedy.
