Every year, during these days, a ritual is held in the villages of Gilan, where they make a delicious food called jokel with soft and unripe rice grains and distribute it among neighbors and acquaintances to bless their rice harvest.
Roast the unripe rice a little, then put it in a cloth bag and beat it with a stick to remove the skin, then add rose water, cinnamon, sugar and chopped walnuts.
This village of Taze Abad is a function of Siahkal city of Gilan province.
