30 Minute Yoga Flow preparing the body for Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana). One block recommended - or an object that is approximately block sized and shaped.

This video accompanies a blog post on building your pincha mayurasana. If you are interested in learning more about that pose, you can find the blog post here: http://wp.me/p1tLUj-6z

If you want some time to center and breathe before starting the flow, spend some time in vidrasana (sitting on the heels) before pressing play.

This class is a fairly well balanced and complete flow - but if you are looking to lengthen the practice, consider adding some of the following
Hip Opener: Lizard, Pigeon or Thread the Needle are great options.
Shoulder Stand or Plow for a cooling inversion
Savasana/Final Relaxation or Meditation for as long as you have time for.

Yoga is about listening to your body and choosing the best pose options for you. So do more of what feels good in this flow, and skip the poses or movements that don't.

If you enjoyed this practice and would like to give a token of gratitude, you can send it via Venmo: @thanksforyoga or PayPal: [email protected]. Every little bit helps to keep the creation of these practices sustainable.

I chose not to add music so that yogis who prefer not to practice with music would also enjoy. If you want music for your practice, enjoy any of my public yoga class playlists on Spotify:

Enjoy yogis!
