If you have ever wanted to have a custom prop knife, than you have come to the right place. In this tutorial, Make It Happen Studios will demonstrate how easy it is to build a fake knife. Regular costume store prop knives don’t always look great and are made from weak plastic, although cheap.
Materials Used:
EVA and craft foam; PVA glue; hot glue; a thin metal rod (coat hanger); and acrylic paints (mixed with PVA glue: silver, lamp black, scarlet and blue.
Tools Used:
A pen, Stanley knife, paint brushes (foam/sponge and bristle), a rotary tool (with 6mm and 13mm sanding drums/bands), safety specs and a dust mask.
