MAKE IT HAPPEN – 3D PRINTER
So I’ve been looking into purchasing a 3D printer lately, preferably a Lulzbot mini. But than one night heard about a Cocoon Create sale being held at Aldi, so I some quick research into their product and made a decision. With $500 cash in my hand, I purchased the 3D Printer Touch straight away. This product was rated as the best 2017 Australian manufactured 3D printer, so I knew it was better to begin with than a more expensive Lulzbot product.

Now this purchase is to be a new learning experience and to open up some possibilities for projects that I thought I would never even be able to begin. So Make It Happen is not changing its Replica/prop/Cosplay DIY into a 3D printing channel, but this may allow me to make more side projects. In my usual DIYs, I will be using 3D printed part for some of the details, but I will show I would have made them using my regular methods, etc.
Now this sale was on a few weeks ago, and the reason why I haven’t done much since the last DIY, the Spartan shield, is because I began working at a new job where most of my free time is needed to recover from the manual labour, etc.
