Creating a story to accompany your workout can be a great way to keep things interesting, and from getting boring.
If you are like me and struggle with the imaginative side of things, you can go to channels such as @Burpeematty, who has already done the hard work for you.
In this workout, you complete 100 1 pumps, in order to escape from a knife wielding maniac.
The idea is that you do 10 1 pump burpees, but then the maniac catches up to you. In order to escape, you have to fight the maniac off with the "maniac complex". Once you have completed the maniac complex, you sprint away with another 10 1 pump burpees.
The fun part of the workout is that the maniac catches up to you after every 10 1 pumps. This means you have to continually fight the maniac after every 10 1 pump burpees.
Finally after you complete 100 1 pump burpees (or 10 rounds), you have defeated the maniac and the workout is complete.
This is what the workout looks like.
10 1 pump burpees, followed by:
THE MANIAC COMPLEX
1 1 pump burpee/with a kick out
1 navy seal burpee/with a kick out
1 1 pump burpee/with a kick out
1 4 pump burpee
9 squats
1 1 pump burpee/with a kick out
1 navy seal burpee
If you repeat this burpee sequence 10 times, you'll have completed 100 1 pump burpees, and escaped the maniac, or whatever obstacle, or confrontation you thought of.

**CORRECTION**
In the video I continually said the word manic instead of maniac🤦♂️. I did mean to say maniac but simply misspoke. Sorry about that Matty!
