Gazprom CEO Aleksey Miller met in Moscow on Friday with Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska.
The discussions focused on Russian gas supplies to the Serbian-speaking territory within Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Miller and Dodik also discussed practical steps towards laying part of the South Stream pipeline through Republika Srpska.
