All I Want For Christmas ll Seven
[No One's POV]
7th December
Demi gets up like clockwork before Leah wakes up, she chuckles as she sees Joe coming out of his room, Joe goes downstairs and Leah starts crying. Demi goes into Mandy's room and sees Mandy holding her daughter
"Want me to take her?" Demi asks
"I can do it" Mandy smiles. Demi nods and leaves walking downstairs and joining Joe in the lounge
"No Leah?" He asks, Demi shakes her head and lays her head on his shoulder, Joe wraps his arm around her. Mandy smiles at them as she walks down, she knew there was something there but she wasnt going to say anything "Hey Dem?"
"Mh"
"Do you wanna go out?" Joe asks
"Where?"
"I dont know, anywhere"
"Okay"
"Me and Selena loved this park when we were kids, it was so far from home and then it was the best place in the world. Now I come here when I need time on my own or just to think"
"What happened then? Dallas said your parents live in Texas"
"Oh they do" Demi nods "We were born in Texas, we moved out here when I was 2, a year later Selena's family moved out here. Its so beautiful. We didnt know any difference at that age but growing up here was amazing.Our parents were always friends so it was a good thing for us and weve been together ever since. Shes my best friend"
"Have you ever been in love?" He asks as they sit on a bench in the park
"I thought I was. With Wilmer, we started dating 2 years ago but he cheated, I took him back but he hasnt changed. I thought I loved him you know? I dont know If I even know what love is"
"You will" He smiles "When you find it, you just know"
"Youve been in love"
"Yes" Joe nods "It was 3 years ago, we met through a friend and hit it off straight away, started dating after 2 days. It wasnt long before I told her I loved her. I proposed 2 years in and she dumped me"
"Ouch. If she loved you she would have said yes"
"I know" Joe nods "Im here now though"
"Yes you are, fake dating my sister"
"The only good thing about it is I met you"
"Your so cliche" Demi smiles "Its a good thing though. Im glad I met you, I do wish you werent fake dating my sister though"
"Why?" Joe asks. Demi looks at him
"Do I honestly have to answer that?" She asks, Joe leans in and kisses her slowly, Demi kisses back but they both pull away "We cant do this"
"I have to talk to your sister"
"We both do before anything happens" Demi says, she looks away but smiles, it felt so good, better than with Wilmer. Joe was different than anyone she knew, he had a way of making her feel special, he made her smile.
