Quilter, author and tutor Lynne Edwards MBE is internationally respected for her knowledge of patchwork and quilting techniques, both hand and machine. Throughout her long career she has shared her skills through workshops, books and magazines, helping generations of quilters develop their craft.
Lynne is the author of many influential quilting books including The Sampler Quilt Book, The New Sampler Quilt Book, Making Scrap Quilts to Use It Up, Stashbuster Quilts and Cathedral Window Quilts. In recognition of her contribution to the textile arts she was awarded an MBE in 2008 for services to arts and crafts. She also received honorary lifetime membership of The Quilters' Guild of the British Isles in 2000 and the Amy Emms Memorial Trophy in 2002 for services to quilting.
