sukekiyo - 論外な生き物として (Demo Ver.) [eng sub] HD
"Rongai na ikimono toshite" can be translated as "As an impossible creature". "Impossible" meaning something that can't be, something that's completely out of the question.
Having a non-live performance video is a first on this channel. I had always planned it for the few songs that don't have a live performance and (important!) most likely also won't get one. This mostly effects demo versions of songs, like this one or DEG's Akatsuki demo version.
Subbing those songs was always something like an endgame goal, something I'd get to once most regular songs are already subbed. And the other day I realized that I literally only have 6 sukekiyo songs left to translate from their discography. Crazy.
A big thank you goes out to jimmy bongos who directed my attention back to this amazing song and requested it. I got really into it when listening to it again, so here's the translation probably faster than expected! Enjoy!

Annotations:
"Do not look back" - Literally "Do not look back behind you". This probably ties into her being what's behind him (hence the second line of the song, "Me, behind you").
"That depends on you" - Literally this line says "That is your freedom", however I chose to word it slightly differently to make clear that this line conveys that it's up to him to make people see him as a good person or not.
"So detestable, that girl" - Probably just trivia, but the word used here, "detestable", is often even used in a very sarcastic way, like saying "oh isn't she great", but meaning that really, you hate her.
"Being unable to even love before being needed by someone" - If you want a more literal wording, this line says "An existence [as someone who is] unable to even love before being deemed necessary by someone".
"Have I loved?" - Theoretically this could also be "Did you love me?". The line after ("I want to...love") is clearly a statement about oneself though, so this one might be too. I read these lines as kind of reflecting, reminiscing about her feelings. She was already pondering that to know love might mean loneliness, indicating that she wonders if it's something she's experienced. That is how I understand this line, which is why I translated it as "Have I loved?". Just be aware grammar-wise, this could also be "Did you love me?".
