A Crisis of Consciousness

When a state, country, or planet loses an important natural resource, the ecological systems that have depended on that resource tend to collapse. Humanity as an ecological system is at such a point of collapse right now, due to the deepening loss of our most important natural resource, “Objective Consciousness”.
As Gurdjieff reminded us, we are required to support the “reciprocal maintenance of the Universe”. In one way or another, the Universe always takes its due.
So, as long as a person can hold Objective Consciousness, they are helping to sustain the systems on which we depend, through active participation.
Furthermore, every conscious person acts as an “anchor point” for those around them, helping to create a “field” in which the emergence of Objective Consciousness in other people is more likely.Does this sound strange? How is Objective Consciousness a resource and why are we so dependent upon it? Let’s dive in and see if we can make some sense of it this evening.
