This week’s topic — “The Play Within the Work”
The Work can seem so serious! “Being a human adult” could land as “being boring”. Plus there’s so much talk about “Awakening” – and at that, it seems mostly like awakening to the parts of our selves that have led us toward pain. Where is the fun in any of this?
Here’s the thing: we may not realize that fun itself is one key to the Work. Childlike play and silliness help create the perfect conditions in which we can learn to be engaged and Awake and truly adult as human beings.
Let’s take an hour or so to get creative and explore together how this might be so.
