Day 28 of Morning Pages. Today was a daze. I didn't sleep great and woke up half out of it. We have no a/c where I live, and the back-to-back 100+ degree days really warmed up the house. Anyway, I got the pages done. They were somewhat scattered, but that's okay. I'm still enjoying the process despite whatever personal, sleep, etc. issues I'm working through. If anything, the writing helps take my mind off the thinking, which is funny. The writing used to put me in my head, and now it's becoming a respite. The morning pages have been teaching me to write without caring or thinking so much. I now need to apply this to my daily life.

Morning Pages are “three pages of longhand writing, strictly stream-of-consciousness.” Julia Cameron is the creator of the Morning Pages. She writes about them in her book THE ARTIST’S WAY.

I'm doing these for 30 days, hopefully longer. As soon as I wake up, I write whatever comes to mind. I don't care about grammar; I don't care about subject matter; I don't care about anything but writing. It takes about 20-25 minutes. If you like, feel free to join in on the fun!
Also, if you do the Morning Pages, post how it's going in the comments. I am genuinely interested and will read and respond to all comments. That is all.
