Day 16 of Morning Pages. After writing my pages, I was in a bad mood. I did my best to feel what I was feeling and let it move through me, but it's not always easy. I ended up screaming into a pillow for a bit. I find this helps whenever I am feeling like there is energy inside of me that doesn't want to move. When I was younger, I would hold onto my bad moods until I spiraled into oblivion. Now, I acknowledge them (hey there), feel them (ahhh! why?! ahhh!), and do what I can to release them (long exhale). Thank you Morning Pages for helping me extract some of this stored pain out of my body so I can become the writer I want to become!

Morning Pages are “three pages of longhand writing, strictly stream-of-consciousness.” Julia Cameron is the creator of the Morning Pages. She writes about them in her book THE ARTIST’S WAY.

I'm doing these for 30 days, hopefully longer. As soon as I wake up, I write whatever comes to mind. I don't care about grammar; I don't care about subject matter; I don't care about anything but writing. It takes about 20-25 minutes. If you like, feel free to join in on the fun!
Also, if you do the Morning Pages, post how it's going in the comments. I am genuinely interested and will read and respond to all comments. That is all.
