Day 15 of Morning Pages. Halfway to my goal! At the present moment, I plan on writing the morning pages indefinitely. I won't be recording and posting them to social media after Day 30, but I have been enjoying the process and want to keep reaping the benefits. One of the biggest benefits has been a renewed confidence in my ability to write. I've always been able to write, but I often stressed about it or complained about it or felt a heavy weight associated with it. I don't feel that as much anymore. By writing 3 pages/day for the last 15 days, I feel like I can just GO! At this point, I believe I can write nonstop for at least 1 hour/day. That would be about 7 handwritten pages/day and 210 pages/month. I can essentially write a book length manuscript in 30 days! I'm not sure if it will be any good, but I am confident I can do it. And having that confidence is very cool.

Morning Pages are “three pages of longhand writing, strictly stream-of-consciousness.” Julia Cameron is the creator of the Morning Pages. She writes about them in her book THE ARTIST’S WAY.

I'm doing these for 30 days, hopefully longer. As soon as I wake up, I write whatever comes to mind. I don't care about grammar; I don't care about subject matter; I don't care about anything but writing. It takes about 20-25 minutes. If you like, feel free to join in on the fun!

Also, if you do the Morning Pages, post how it's going in the comments. I am genuinely interested and will read and respond to all comments. That is all.
