Day 21 of Morning Pages. Today I wrote about my trip to Lake Tahoe yesterday. I had some pretty cool insights while meditating near the water. This is common whenever I go to the lake and meditate. The biggest insight was a feeling of becoming the best version of myself and how we all have the ability to create whatever reality we want for ourselves. It was very powerful and enlightening...and also scary. To feel the infinite power/energy that flows inside us all can be intimidating—at least it can be for me. I think this is because I, for a good portion of my adult life, lived in a more limiting state of mind. Over the last two years, however, I've been letting go and opening up more and more. It felt like the ultimate goal in life is to shine as bright as you can. So shine on, everyone!

Morning Pages are “three pages of longhand writing, strictly stream-of-consciousness.” Julia Cameron is the creator of the Morning Pages. She writes about them in her book THE ARTIST’S WAY.

I'm doing these for 30 days, hopefully longer. As soon as I wake up, I write whatever comes to mind. I don't care about grammar; I don't care about subject matter; I don't care about anything but writing. It takes about 20-25 minutes. If you like, feel free to join in on the fun!

Also, if you do the Morning Pages, post how it's going in the comments. I am genuinely interested and will read and respond to all comments. That is all.
