Day 11 of Morning Pages. I had a few technical difficulties this morning, but it worked itself out. Health-wise: I'm feeling much better today than yesterday, which is nice. I had an interesting post-morning pages experience, where I gained some clarity on some of the things I was writing about. This clarity allowed me to let go of some of the stuff I have been holding on to and didn't quite understand. As of now, the pages are feeling like a way for me to extract a lot of the nonsense inside of me that's been blocking my creative flow. By doing this work, I feel like I can write in a healthier way. The dread and anxiety I would sometimes feel when writing is leaving. I think this is because I am doing it everyday, so it's becoming less and less intimidating.

Morning Pages are “three pages of longhand writing, strictly stream-of-consciousness.” Julia Cameron is the creator of the Morning Pages. She writes about them in her book THE ARTIST’S WAY.

I'm doing these for 30 days, hopefully longer. As soon as I wake up, I write whatever comes to mind. I don't care about grammar; I don't care about subject matter; I don't care about anything but writing. It takes about 20-25 minutes. If you like, feel free to join in on the fun!

Also, if you do the Morning Pages, post how it's going in the comments. I am genuinely interested and will read and respond to all comments. That is all.
