Day 19 of Morning Pages. I wasn't in the mood for writing these pages today. It was hot AF in my room, and I didn't sleep great. As I wrote, I felt like a crazy person. My thoughts were all over the place, jumping from topic to topic. After it was over, I did start to feel better, and as the day went on, I felt better and better. I taught an improv comedy class an hour after writing the pages, and it was one of the best classes I've ever taught. Maybe the morning pages helped me get out all of the clutter so that I could teach with clarity? I'm not sure, but I'm also not very interested in analyzing it. The pages are the pages, and they are doing what they do. All you have to do is write them. And I wrote. Day 19. Done.

Morning Pages are “three pages of longhand writing, strictly stream-of-consciousness.” Julia Cameron is the creator of the Morning Pages. She writes about them in her book THE ARTIST’S WAY.

I'm doing these for 30 days, hopefully longer. As soon as I wake up, I write whatever comes to mind. I don't care about grammar; I don't care about subject matter; I don't care about anything but writing. It takes about 20-25 minutes. If you like, feel free to join in on the fun!
Also, if you do the Morning Pages, post how it's going in the comments. I am genuinely interested and will read and respond to all comments. That is all.
